The Beginning

This is the beginning of my posts. Grant wanted to make sure that you all know I designed my blog background in Photoshop. That's my new little hobby. I love playing around with it and learning new things. I definitely have a LONG way to go but it's a start. I obviously have a lot of updating to do so stay tuned

Literacy Night with G-ma Rox

About a month ago we were able to go to my mom's literacy night for her school. IT was a really fun night. All the teachers dressed up in fairy tale costumes, and sent the kids on a treasure hunt. At the end of the treasure hunt the principal was waiting with a book and a bag of goodies. Griffin was having a rough night and was afraid of all the teachers. Even G-ma Rox. He warmed up to by the end though. Thanks for the fun night mom!

Oops!

I was trying to edit my Friends list, and as you may have noticed I deleted them ALL. Crap. I will try and get everything up again, but that is going to be a very difficult task. More update to come. I was inspired last night at GNO to try to potty train Griffin. Well I took him to pick out some big boy undies, and some prize toys he can get when he goes. Any other tips would be greatly appreciated. I got home from the store put him in the undies and he went potty in them and says" No Mommy! I want diaper!" I had him sit on the potty for a while and then asked what he wanted to wear and he told me underwear. So maybe that's a good thing?

My Job

I get a lot of questions about what I do for a living and I think a lot of people really don't understand. Bellow is an example of stuff we create on a daily basis. This is a building that is being added onto as we speak but the developer wants to start selling rooms before it is finished. He sends us the plans and we build it in 3D, we match materials and surroundings to get it to look just like it will eventually look. I created about 90% of the content from start to finish, the only rooms I didn't create were the Pub, fitness room, and the Theater.
So now you know what I do. To answer a common question I say "no I don't take pictures for a living."

Check out our website to see all the stuff we do!

Me and my dad

Need I say more?

Stryder's Blessing...Back in September

Here are a couple of pictures from Stryder's big day back in September....(I know)Don't mind Griffin's look. It was a rough one for him.

Family picture...don't you just love how your face is the first thing to show you have gained weight and the last thing to show that you lost it? Thank goodness it is only baby weight and it goes away fairly quickly.

Griffin and Kaleb watching Toy Story 2 in our room. (It was the only way we could get the Griffster to calm down)

His face say it all. Really...more pictures?

Because I'm their mom

Here are a couple of precious pics of my boys. Oh how I love them

Baby Pictures

Grant's sister Melissa came over and took Stryder's pictures the other day. They turned out so CUTE! These are just a few of my favs. Stryder is still just as little as can be. On Monday he weighed 7lbs 6 oz. (1 ounce bigger than his birth weight. I figure he must have lost a lot of weight under that Billy Bed. Griffin is getting better and better at being Big Brother. He LOVES Stryder!

Stryder!!!

Our sweet little Stryder Bingham Rane joined our family on Wednesday July 29. He weighed in at 7lbs 5oz (which is 4 oz smaller than Griff) And 20 1/2 inches long. Would you like our story?
I had my weekly appointment that morning. And I was REALLY hoping she would tell me that I was in labor and to go straight down to Labor and Delivery. It didn't exactly go that way. I was dilated to a 4, so she decided to strip my membranes again. While she was stripping them she asked if I would mind if she "accidentally" broke my water. I was THRILLED! So my water broke and I went down to L&D. They started me on pitocin at around 11. I got my epidural around noon. Started pushing at 3 and at 3:06. Yes I pushed through 2 contractions and he was here. Amazing, I pushed for and hour with the Griffster. We are all doing extremely well. Stryder is loving to sleep right now. Griffin is loving his baby brother and thinks it is really funny when Stryder's arms hit him in the face. Griffin will sit by the swing and bouncer just staring at Baby Brother.

Bylunds come to town!

My sister and her way fun family were able to come into town for a couple of weeks, and boy was it fun. Griffin had so much fun with his cousins and learned lots of new things. We were able to spend a lot of time together and it was nice to have the whole family there. Here are a few highlights...

We Celebrated Jon's Birthday....Lindsay did not like the Rawlings family version of "Happy Birthday"

The family, minus me, went to the Air Show

Grandpa James read a lot of Skippy Jon Jones

Griffin got to hold his Cousin Ashley.

We went to Lagoon...

And we went to the Zoo. Griffin's favorite part about the zoo was the elephant. and Cassidy's cool wagon. I wish that I had video of Griff in the fountains at Lagoon. We had to pull him away he was having so much fun, and he was making everyone laugh. My little boy LOVES water. We also Celebrated Cassidy's 1st birthday. Unfortunately I wasn't feeling so hot so I didn't take any pictures. We really enjoyed the time we had with our family. I love them all so much. It's always hard to see my sister go home. On the up side though I on;y have 7 weeks until my due date. Stryder will be here in no time. :-)

Here are a few random photos for your viewing pleasure....

On night after Griffin was ready for bed he kept bringing me clothes and asking to put them on. By the end i think we had 4 or 5 layers on and he could barely move. It was like Christmas Story in the summer

The boy loves the hose and dirt, need I say more?
